April 1, 2023: First day at our new office at the Medical Tower

Hello!

As it always does, Spring continues to invite change. In nature, we witness cycles of death and rebirth at this time of year, and the opportunities for growth and transformation that spring forward from them.

As an immunocompromised small business owner, parent, and human, the past three years have deepened my relationship with change and adaptability, both professionally and personally.

AIM has weathered a number of shifts both prior to 2020, and throughout the pandemic. We’ve continuously streamlined our operations to keep up with a rapidly changing global environment.

Since 2021, I have lost four loved ones.

In our most recent pivot to sustain and support access to care, AIM moved from our open room multi-bed clinic in West Philadelphia after 7 sacred years on Lancaster Avenue, and re-opened in a private office at the Medical Tower - a wheelchair accessible building in Center City.

I am filled with an abundance of gratitude as I adjust during this recent transition. Starting April off settling into our cozy new clinic space has been sweet and rejuvenating.

The alternating rain and sun, and warm wind of the first day all reflected the dynamic emotional climate of my inner world at the moment: happy, uplifted, melancholy, yet hopeful.

I hope you’re taking care of yourself during these extraordinary times, and I look forward to seeing you soon.
