Terms & Policies

Financial policy:

All payments are due at the time of service. We require a card on file (credit/HSA/or FSA) for all appointment reservations, however, at the time of your treatment, we accept cards, contactless payments, checks or exact cash. Please note that any cards used to secure an appointment may be used to pay for your visit or charge no-show fees.

We are an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance companies. If you think your insurance covers acupuncture, we are happy to supply you with a receipt so you can file your own claim.

Lateness policy:

We may not be able to accommodate late arrivals. As a courtesy, late cancelled appointments can be rescheduled, without charge, for any available same day appointment.

Lateness of over 15 minutes will be considered a cancellation.

Cancellation policy:

We value your time and ours. We treat in a private one-to-one setting, and your appointment time is reserved solely for you. The sustainability of our clinic depends on our patients keeping their appointment times or making them available to others who need them in a timely fashion. As a courtesy, we offer a convenient online scheduling system that allows you to make appointment changes as needed. We respectfully ask for at least 48 hours notice for any appointment changes so that we may fill the appointment time. Our online appointment system will not allow you to cancel your own appointment within the 48 hour time-frame. In this case, you must call or text 215.730.5701 or email info@acupunctureinmotion.com in order to cancel. This allows us to directly contact people waiting for appointments. Please respect other patients and our clinic and give as much notice as possible if needing to cancel.

Missed appointments and late cancellations of less than 48 hours notice are subject to a fee in the base treatment amount for that appointment.

We understand that extenuating circumstances arise and are willing to do our best to make accommodations and waive cancellation fees due to sudden illness and emergencies. We ask that patients please communicate with us as quickly as possible.

We are here to serve our community and promote healing to the best of our ability for every single patient. We cannot achieve this without mutual cooperation from each and every individual who reaches out to us for support. Patients who habitually abuse our terms and policies with chronic lateness, no-shows, late cancellations, etc will be dismissed from the practice.

Thank you for partnering with us in collective healing.
